The death of my best friend and his suffering once again presents a test of my spiritual faith. I know full well that I’m not alone as I wallow in my grief. I know that others have felt the sting of death, which gives cause for them to question why God allows suffering, and why bad things happen to good people. The fact that these occurrences always bring me to my Bible to search for an answer might in and of itself be God’s reason for exacting His will in a manner that appears to us as being cruel and void of love.

Annie B. Crockett-Stark has been the elected delegate for the 6th District of Virginia since 2005. She is a very nice lady and can be rather entertaining when relating her many life-stories to her captive audience. What she isn’t is an effective delegate to represent the fine citizens of her 6th District.

We grew up in America with the words of our Declaration of Independence and our Constitution burned into our brain and heart, especially the phrase inserted by Thomas Jefferson which states; “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal.”

Christians find solace in various scripture from the Bible that touches upon the subject of how God made us and treats us as we live our life. Contrary to what many believe, the Bible doesn’t contain the phrase, “All men are created equal”. God did inspire words to be spoken and written that adequately express how we are similar and how we are different.

If you have heard about secret groups that run nations and the world as a whole, you might have heard the following names. These groups are comprised of powerful and influential people who have the ability to provide money and power to influence governments (including the election of heads of governments), banks, military actions, and other situations that dictate the present and future of the world.

Do you have intrinsic value? A value that comes from within one’s self and is inherently present and used in a natural way without any thought of receiving acclaim. Do you have to stop and think before providing assistance to a person who has a heart attack and falls on the sidewalk at your feet?

I don’t know why it is that I can’t escape the aggravation of some people. I must admit that I probably have less patience with obstinate, rude, arrogant, and selfish people than others who encounter these same malfunctioning personalities. I feel like a magnet that attracts this brand of people, while I would much rather reverse my polarity and repel them in the opposite direction. They cleave to me like another layer of skin and rub me the wrong way like a robotic masseuse run amuck. To me, they are just another reason for high blood pressure.

The shift in American jobs to China, India, and other countries is alarming to displaced American workers but politicians and business executives seem oblivious to the unemployment problems created by this foreign trade and foreign business investment policy.

Between 1999 and 2005 over 1800 nursing homes closed in the United States. The primary reason is that the average annual cost per patient is $69,000. Medicare and Medicaid aren’t covering all of this cost and it either must come from other sources, or eventually when the shortfall becomes economically intolerable for families and owners of nursing homes, well the nursing homes will close. Where will the elderly patients go for their needed care? Is our government making plans for this certain occurrence?
